First time at Edo, went for lunch and it was very good. Place is cute; service was good. Food was great- nice portions of fresh fish. Will return.
I stopped by this establishment for dinner after shopping. The service was warm and inviting, and very efficient. The restaurant was clean, and the sushi chefs clearly took pride in their craft. The sushi was good, and the price point was excellent for the quality. I would definitely go back!

Edo has been around forever. I remember going here for lunch quite a bit when I worked in Union Square back in 2005-2008. It's been a while, but I was happy to revisit it for lunch this week with my husband. They have great lunch specials, and the fish is very fresh and tasty. We shared the spicy tuna crispy rice, and I had the three roll lunch combo while my husband had the sushi sashimi combo. It was really delicious all around, and the service was fantastic. The ambiance is relaxed, and I appreciate that the tables are not all crammed together into a tight spot. It also feels removed from the hustle and bustle of 17th Street and Union Square because it's on the second floor. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
We had the crispy rice, sashimi sushi and 3 roll combo lunch specials. Everything was fresh and tasty, all though a bit on the pricier side. But hey, everything in NYC got more pricy right? The service was friendly and attentive. The interior has a nice ambiance. We will be back.

Loved their lunch specials and soups. The may have a small menu, but everything is very high quality and tasty! They also very well may have the best shrimp shumai I've ever had in my life. Totally recommend it!
With one bite I could tell that this sushi was really good quality. I throughly enjoyed eating it, especially with their soy sauce. It was particularly tasty! Also, the hostess was super sweet. As I was waiting for my Uber Eats order, she invited me to sit at a dine-in table. I know some establishments are really picky and wouldn't have allowed that.
This is a very cute spot by Union square. Dined here last night after a workout class and wanted to get a few bites to share. We got a miso soup to warm us up, shrimp shumai, crispy rice and the salmon mango caviar roll in addition to the spicy tuna roll. Service was pretty fast and we got our food right away. Everything was tasty and fresh, the miso soup crispy rice and salmon mango caviar roll were my favorites! There was a generous portion of tuna on the crispy rice and the miso was hearty and filling. I loved the freshness of the mango in the roll. I would come back again to try more of what they offer!
Great sushi! Solid service, and the interior decor is very interesting! Try the shiitaki avocado roll !
